Humanity is advancing faster than ever. We built the institution to match.
Developing People and Systems for an Intelligent Future
Not a single program, but a durable institution — built to convene serious leaders, generate credible research, and launch demonstration projects, then stand behind them for decades.

Pillars
The forces that hold communities back are not separate problems. Health, education, work, capital, technology, and community are one fabric. That truth deserves more than another program. It deserves an institution equal to its scale.
The problems are connected — the responses are not.
Health programs rarely touch workforce. Education rarely touches capital. Each operates in its own silo, on its own funding cycle, while the people they serve live integrated lives.
Trust and rigor rarely share a table.
The organizations closest to communities often lack research, clinical leadership, and large-scale funding. The institutions that hold those assets often lack genuine community trust.
Demonstration is missing.
There is no shortage of analysis. There is a shortage of working, measured, replicable models — and institutions willing to stand behind them long enough to prove and scale them.
One institution, four layers.
The institution is the platform. The institutes are the activations. The programs are the proof. The technology is the multiplier.
The Institution
The enduring umbrella — the brand, the governance, the councils, the standards, and the platform from which everything is launched. It outlasts any single program or leader.
The Institutes
Focused institutes activate the pillars. Each has its own leadership, advisory council, research agenda, and funding strategy, while drawing on the credibility of the whole. The Health Advancement Institute is the first.
The Programs & Pilots
Institutes run demonstration projects — concrete, measured initiatives that prove and refine models in the real world, then document them for replication.
The Innovation Layer
Cutting across institutes, an innovation layer builds the technology that makes good models scale — expert-guided but not dependent on any one person, designed for reach beyond any single program.
Confusing these layers is the surest way to be mistaken for something smaller than we are.
Seven lenses on one mission.
A deliberately fixed spine — because an institution needs one. Each pillar maps to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The Health Advancement Institute
Health goes first. It carries our strongest relationships, the clearest human urgency, and the most direct path to credibility and funding.
Preventable disease still tracks zip code and circumstance more reliably than biology. The most stubborn failure is the screen-to-treatment gap — people learn they are at risk but never reach care. Trusted relationships, navigation, and clinical follow-through close that gap, and they are underfunded precisely where they would matter most.

Dr. Michele Y. Griffith
A respected physician and public-health leader, Dr. Griffith enters as an architect — shaping the institute’s first demonstration program, its Medical Advisory Council, its research agenda, and its clinical standards. An institute focused on community health lives or dies on clinical credibility; her leadership is its anchor.
The pillars aren't theory. They're already in the field.
Across three continents, IHA already runs the programs that prove each pillar — from AI training to workforce pipelines to global delegations.
Five repeatable functions.
The same instruments the most respected institutions use to turn conviction into influence — a research-to-impact pipeline from credible knowledge, to demonstrated models, to scaled practice.
Councils & Governance
A Council of Elders provides wisdom and continuity; topical councils bring expertise and reach. These bodies are the institution’s credibility made visible.
Research & Evidence
Every institute carries a research agenda. We generate credible knowledge — and bring rigor to partners who have reach but lack evaluation capacity.
Demonstration Projects
We build working, measured pilots that prove models in the real world, then refine and document them for replication.
Convening & Leadership
We bring leaders together across sectors that rarely share a table, and cultivate the next generation through fellowships and networks.
Partnership & Innovation
We partner with existing institutions rather than competing with them, and build the technology that lets good models scale.
A founding moment that does not come twice.
AI is remaking life faster than communities can absorb
Practical artificial intelligence is reshaping health, education, and work — creating both the risk of deeper exclusion and the chance to extend expertise where it has never reached.
Trusted institutions have proven their power
The post-pandemic years revealed both the depth of health inequity and the unmatched power of trusted community institutions to respond. Those relationships are real assets that will not last forever.
A window of leadership is open
A specific set of respected people are willing and available to build now — at the founding moment, when their fingerprints can shape the institution itself.
Institutions are defined by the moment of their founding. The intelligent future is being built right now — the question is whether it will be built for everyone.

Invest in an institution.
We are inviting a small number of founding partners to help launch this institution and its first activation — at the only moment when their support shapes an institution rather than simply sustains one. Founding partners are not buying a logo on a flyer. They are helping to establish a durable institution, with their names on its founding.
Built to be accountable
Three tiers of stewardship — a Council of Elders, topical councils, and a governing board — with audited financials and core governance safeguards from the outset.
