Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Institute for Human Advancement (“IHA,” “we,” “us”) website or enrolling in an IHA program, including programs operated through our arm Uplift Communities, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or our programs.

Use of This Site

This website provides information about IHA’s programs, research, and affiliated institutes, and allows visitors to make inquiries, apply to programs, and make donations. You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation or attempt to access it in an unauthorized manner.

Text Messaging (SMS) Program

Members enrolled in an IHA care-management program may separately opt in to receive text messages from their care team — appointment reminders, care-coordination check-ins, and related follow-ups. This is not a marketing program and is never used for two-factor authentication.

• Consent to receive texts is optional and separate from program enrollment — declining, or opting out later, never affects your access to care-management services.
• Message frequency varies based on your care plan.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for assistance.
• Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Donations

IHA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations made through this site are processed by a third-party payment provider and are subject to that provider’s terms. Donation receipts for tax purposes are issued separately by IHA.

You may not reproduce or distribute this content without our prior written consent, except as permitted for personal, non-commercial reference.
