New York Department of State records list The Institute for Human Advancement Inc. as an active domestic not-for-profit corporation formed March 27, 2026 (DOS ID 7872203). The IRS determination letter uses that correct name and confirms federal exemption effective the same date.
The IRS searchable organization dataset currently misspells “Advancement” as “Adancement.” IHA is treating the signed determination letter as the authoritative record while it prepares a correction request for the searchable listing.
As of this review, no public entry for IHA was located in the New York Charities Bureau registry. Online contributions are paused until registration, pending status, or an applicable exemption is documented and the required solicitation disclosures are confirmed.
